McHenry to Visit Forsyth and Stokes counties

Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) will be in Stokes County for one event and Forsyth County for two events on Wednesday.

McHenry will join Forsyth Tech Community College President President Dr. Janet Spriggs for a tour of the Stokes County Campus to learn more about the school and the programs that are offered to students in Stokes County. The tour will begin at 1165 Dodgetown Road in Walnut Cove.

McHenry will then celebrate the opening of his new Triad District office. The Triad District office will be open to the public on Mondays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The Triad District office is located in the Rural Hall Town Hall at 423 Bethania-Rural Hall Road in Rural Hall.

McHenry will also tour the Smith Reynolds Airport. In addition to a tour of the airport McHenry will learn more about the $7 million scheduled terminal renovation and the prospective $17 million project to remove, renovate and build hangars. The tour will also include an overview of the near completion of Forsyth Tech Community College’s $16 million aviation campus nearby. The tour will take place at the Smith Reynolds Airport located at 3801 North Liberty Street in Winston-Salem.
