CLEMMONS — The Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural Tour of Lewisville Bike Event on Saturday, May 22, in Lewisville. This event will draw bike enthusiasts and professionals alike to participate in a cycling adventure in the community.

Participants will enjoy three routes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. that will take them across beautiful terrain throughout and around the town with stunning waterfront and hilltop views. Riders will receive complimentary lunches, T-shirts and swag bags.

To ensure the safety of the cyclists on their 15-mile, 30-mile and 60-mile rides and to keep traffic moving, Forsyth County sheriff’s deputies will be on hand for the entire event.

“We’re excited that our business community has embraced this event at a time when our residents are longing for fun, outdoor activities and ways to connect,” said Ditra Miller, CEO of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce. “Another huge plus of this event is that it gives exposure to our local businesses and opens the door for participants to eat local, shop local and support local.”

The pre-registration rider fee is $30 and $40 on the day of the event. Riders are asked to bring nonperishable food items for the Lewisville Community Assistance Program Food Pantry. Volunteer opportunities are also available. To learn more, go to touroflewisville.com or contact Meika Imes at meika@lewisville-clemmons.com or 336-970-5100 ext. 2.
