Storytime (Virtual)
Thursdays from 10-10:30 a.m.
Join in for stories, rhymes, songs and activities designed to improve early literacy. Recommended for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.

Pet Costume Contest
June 1- 17
Email a photo of your pet in costume to jordanmc@forsth.cc by June 17. Pictures will be posted on Lewisville Branch Library’s website and you may vote for your favorite creation via an online form from June 18-27. A winning photo will be announced on June 28. The winner will get a prize provided by the Friends of the Lewisville Branch Library.

NC Zoo: Magnifi-senses – Virtual

Teen Advisory Board Meeting (Virtual)
Monday, June 7, from 5-6 p.m.
Lewisville Branch Library’s Teen Advisory Board is made up of Lewisville Branch Library’s teen volunteers (Ages 12-18). The board meets to discuss ways to improve the Lewisville Branch Library’s service to teens. The Teen Advisory Board helps to plan programs, create displays, and suggests resources that the library should purchase. Yoga for Beginners (In-person outdoors & Virtual)

Friday, June 4 and 18, at 9 a.m. Join in outside at the library or from home for two free yoga sessions to help uplift your mind and body during this stressful time. How to Adopt or Foster a Dog or Cat: ABCs from the Forsyth Humane Society (Virtual)

Are you thinking of adopting a dog or cat, or perhaps fostering one? The Forsyth Humane Society will explain how to select animals that best fit with your family, as well as how to care for a dog or cat in the first year of its life and beyond, including costs, veterinary services, vaccines, housing, exercise, socialization and more. Our presenter, Rex Welton, brings more than 21 years of experience with the Forsyth Humane Society to this presentation. This is open to adults and their families.
