WINSTON-SALEM — The sights and sounds that once filled the community of Bethabara will come to life on from 1:30-4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 17, during the park’s Hands-on-History Day event.
Attendees of the event are invited to chat with 18th-century craftsmen including woodworkers, a blacksmith, and blue dyer. Visitors will also enjoy learning about — and sampling — food that was available to the town’s first settlers.
Admission is free.
