Clemmons Elementary shows support for Mount Tabor

At Clemmons Elementary, staff members wore blue and gold to school to let their colleagues at Mount Tabor High that they were thinking of them.
Wendy Brewington, who is the principal at Clemmons Elementary, graduated from Mount Tabor in 1990.
After the shooting at Mount Tabor on Sept. 1, Brewington invited teachers and other staff members to wear clothing with the Mount Tabor school colors — blue and gold — to school on Sept. 2.
They did.
In addition to Brewington, the staff includes two other Mount Tabor graduates.
Ruth Ann Timmons, who teaches fourth grade, graduated in 1996.
Lea Cox, who is the IT facilitator, graduated in 2006.
