The 2021 Second Spring Arts Festival is seeking literary entries for the contest, and Aging With Purpose is the theme. All western Piedmont Triad senior adults 60 and over are invited to submit up to two pieces of literary work in either of the following categories:

• Poetry

• Short story

• Essay

• Memoir

The top three winners and honorable mention entries will be selected by judges and will be recognized in the 2021 Second Spring Literary Anthology. Deadline for entries is Oct. 22.

There is no entry fee. Individual entries should not exceed 1,500 words. Entries should be emailed (preferred method) to editor@k2publish.com. Entries can also be mailed to Second Spring Arts, Suite 712, 6255 Towncenter Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012. Please call 336-788-2008 if you do not receive a confirmation of entry.

Each entry should include a title page with the category, title, author’s name, address, phone and email address. The entry itself should not have any of the author’s identifying information.
