Maltzahn named to dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic

DAVENPORT, IOWA — Lauren Maltzahn of Winston Salem has been named to the dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus in Port Orange, Florida, for the summer quarter.

Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first and largest college in the chiropractic profession, has campuses in Davenport, Iowa; San Jose, California; and Port Orange, Florida.

The Citadel Class of 2022 wears the ring

CHARLESTON, S.C. — More than 550 cadets, active duty and veteran students now proudly wear The Citadel class ring.

The Class of 2022 marched across Summerall Field, directly into Summerall Chapel, where the rings were presented on Friday, Oct. 1.

Local cadets who received their rings include:

• Aidan Brady of Clemmons

Sparks receives degree from Georgia Tech

ATLANTA —  Joshua Sparks of Bermuda Run has earned a master of science degree in analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Sparks was among approximately 1,480 undergraduate and graduate students who earned degrees during the summer 2021 semester.
