Caroline Dailey was recognized on Oct. 20 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons Student of the Month for October.

In nominating Dailey, West Forsyth High School stated the following:

“Caroline is an active member of the West Forsyth school community. She manages her academics and participates on our varsity soccer team and club soccer through the N.C. Fusion program. She is a high-achieving student who is well rounded. Caroline is charismatic and a dedicated student athlete at West Forsyth.”

Dailey is an excellent Student with a GPA of 4.54 and ranks 11th in a class of 563 students and is a Crosby Scholar.

She is involved in several West Forsyth High School-related activities including the following: four-year member and leader of the varsity girls soccer team; member of the West Forsyth Girls Service Club — volunteering in the Buddy Walk, Campus Clean-Up, and other activities.

Outside of school, Dailey is a member of the N.C. Fusion Club Soccer and team captain and volunteers at the concession stand and helps run younger teams’ practices. She is in charge of providing team documents to referees and tournament organization.

She also works for her dad, David, in his residential home construction company, David Bailey Builders, during the school year and summers. Her role is a project leader, running crews, scheduling, quoting.

Dailey is considering attending Clemson, Duke, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Elon, Virginia Tech, and UVA and majoring in bio-medical engineering, exercise science or biology.

The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Dailey for her accomplishments and contributions to her school and community.
