Youth programs

• Storytime: Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. – Featuring books and singalongs. This fall, storytimes will alternate between being held outdoors and on Zoom, but online registration through the library website is required for both formats. On Oct. 28, storytime will be on Zoom, and on Nov. 4 it will be in the library courtyard.

• I Wonder Wednesday: Join in Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. on Zoom for the new children’s program series featuring a variety of topics. A limited number of supply kits will be available upon request at the Clemmons Branch Library. The next session will be on Nov. 3. • Preschool Crafts: Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. on Zoom — On Wednesday, Nov. 10, the group will create Thank You Bookmarks. Supplies will be listed on the website ahead of time and a limited quantity of supply kits will be available for pickup the week before the program. • Teen Talk Thursdays: Every other Thursday at 4:30 p.m. — Come to the library on Oct. 29 and get your gourd on by making a spooktacular pumpkin without carving it.

• Tween and Teen Advisory Board: Join in on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 4:30 p.m. to suggest topics and themes for future tween/teen programs, provide feedback on juvenile and young adult materials including fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels. Earn volunteer time helping out with library events and programs.
