On Thursday Dec. 16, the Clemmons Kiwanis Club presented a $1,500 donation to the Friends of the Clemmons Library.
The donation was made in honor of Carolyn Price, a 30-year member of the club who served as president several times and always was the club’s community voice. If anything important needed to be done there was a good chance Price and her family played an important part.
While she was guiding the club, Price was serving in many positions in the Forsyth County Library System until finally she served as the Clemmons branch manager for the last 25 years until she retired earlier this year.
The event was attended by members of the Clemmons Kiwanis Club, Friends of the Clemmons Library, past Clemmons Library Manager Carolyn Price, current Clemmons Library Manager Decca Slaughter, Mayor Mike Rogers, Clemmons Council members, Mary Cameron and Mike Combest, library staff, and Forsyth County Library directors.
