FORSYTH COUNTY — The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the community during a homicide investigation.

Around 10 a.m. on Monday, a man was reported to have been shot at Peacehaven Mobile Home Park on Hollow Ridge Drive in Winston-Salem. The mobile home park is located on South Peacehaven Road, north of Interstate 40 and east of Lewisville-Clemmons Road.

Deputies found a man with a gunshot wound to the torso, and immediately began life-saving measures. Forsyth County EMS transported the man to the hospital, where he later died.

Police have identified Bartalome Palacios Mundo, 42, as the victim.
