Winter Storm Izzy blew through Clemmons on Sunday, covering everything in a beautiful white sheet. The Titans enjoyed the snow while it lasted and are now back in school for their exams. Some West seniors are onto their last semester and others are headed off campus for the last time.

For all the seniors graduating early, congratulations. Looking back at the fall semester, this is what the seniors will miss the most.

“I think I’ll miss the football games the most. I think it brought us all together and gave us a chance to hang out outside of school. It gave us a reason to be excited for the next week,” senior Erin Spragins said.

“My first semester was definitely one to remember, I made tons of new friends and since I don’t have any classes with them, I most likely won’t see them as much. I’ll miss them and the first semester so much,” senior Mya Hurst said.

“The first semester is always exciting because you get to see all the friends you don’t see over the summer. I really liked my classes this semester so I’ll definitely miss them,” senior Caroline Johnson said.

First semester exams were scheduled to run through Wednesday, and Thursday is the last day of the semester with a regular scheduled B-day, along with makeup exams. There will be no school Friday for a teacher workday, giving the Titans a three-day weekend.

With it being only a short week because of exams, there’s not much else to report.

So, that’s about it at West Forsyth this week.

Go Titans!
