Adult programs

• Blind Date with a Book
Feb. 1-28. Slips due March 3. Winner announced March 4.
Lewisville Branch
During the month of love, the library has selected a variety of books and wrapped them oh-so-secretively. You won’t know the “identity” of your blind date until you get it home. Will it be fiction or non-fiction? Funny, informative, a mystery, a romance? You may end up having a great time with a book you wouldn’t have chosen for yourself. With each book is an optional “Rate a Date” slip for simply saying whatever you want about your date. You won’t hurt anyone’s feelings. Even if your date turns out to be a “dud,” all is not lost. With each slip you return, you can enter the raffle for a nifty “date-like” prize. The winner will be announced on March 4.

• Yoga for Beginners (in-person and virtual)
Thursday, Feb. 3 and 17 at noon (new day and time)
Lewisville Branch
Join in at the Lewisville Branch auditorium or from home for two free yoga sessions to help uplift your mind and body during this stressful time. The class is facilitated by local yoga instructor Tracy O’Neill of YogaCentrix. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library. Call 336-703-2940 for more information.

• Color & Coffee (in-person)
