Attorney Sean Lew is running for the North Carolina House District 74.
Longtime Forsyth County resident and attorney Sean Lew filed paperwork to establish his candidacy in the 2022 race for North Carolina State House District 74.
Lew. During his distinguished legal career, Lew has worked hard to increase civil access to justice among North Carolinians unable to afford legal services and has served as a mentor to a generation of attorneys and law students performing pro bono legal work.
In 2007, he received the inaugural “Citizen Lawyer” Award for exemplary public service activities from the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). In 2021, he received the NCBA’s William Thorp Pro Bono Service Award which recognizes attorneys who have provided exceptional pro bono legal assistance to low-income individuals in the state.
A cheerleader for small businesses, Lew is an active member of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce and has served as a commissioner on two citizen boards for the City of Winston-Salem. He has also been a long-time advocate for the state’s visually impaired with the Friends of the N.C. Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Raleigh.
Lew resides in Clemmons along with his wife Alison and children.
