BERMUDA RUN — Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Davie Medical Center has received top honors from Business North Carolina magazine.
The hospital was named the No. 1 Patient Pick, with a patient score of 91%, in the magazine’s annual rankings of acute care hospitals with 50 or more beds. The rankings of 25 hospitals in the state are based on the percentage of patients who would recommend the hospital to others.
“We are honored to receive this recognition and we are proud to share it with all of our loyal patients,” said Chad Brown, president of Davie Medical Center. “This award is just another example of the commitment from our entire team to constantly deliver high-quality, personalized and compassionate care that exceeds the expectations of our patients and their loved ones.”
The rankings are compiled from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, a survey completed by adult hospital patients between 48 hours and six weeks after discharge.
Other hospitals on the list include Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center (No. 15), Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (No. 21) and Atrium Health Cabarrus (No. 24).
