The Lewisville Library is one of six designated sites where residents of Forsyth County can cast their votes early for the upcoming May primary election beginning on Thursday, April 28.

One-stop early voting is considered “absentee voting” because the voter can cast a ballot before Election Day and therefore, is physically “absent” on Election Day.

Early voting allows registered voters to go in person to their county board of elections office or early voting sites to vote a One-Stop Early Voting absentee ballot.

One-stop early voting is conducted starting on the second Thursday before the election and ends at 3 p.m. on the last Saturday before the election.

A reason for voting early is not required.

A registered voter may vote at any one-stop early voting location regardless of their place of residence.

All voters will be required to state their name and address and they must sign an affidavit stating that they are voting early.
