Rep. Jeff Zenger presented ceremonial checks to Lewisville, Clemmons and Vienna fire departments on Wednesday, April 27.

The funding, which was secured by Zenger in the state budget, will be used for equipment and other needs, including new fire engines.

“I am so thankful for our first responders,” Zenger said. “I am so happy and honored to help provide them with the equipment they need as they respond to emergencies in the community. They are true heroes.”
