The Titans have officially made it to May, an exciting but stressful month. Now that we are in the last full month of school, most of us are focused on exams and prom.

AP testing began Monday and let’s just say it has been stressful. AP students have been cramming in all the last-minute studying. It is crucial for AP students to arrive on time for their testing sessions.

Juniors, seniors and their dates will be taking over the Millennium Center for the 2022 prom on May 14.

This year’s theme is “Dripping in Gold.”

Tickets are on sale now and will continue through next week during lunches. Cost is $35 and only cash payments are accepted.

To enter the prom, each person must have their prom ticket, a photo ID and their name on the paid prom list. Readmission is not allowed.

Now, for the not-so-fun part — parking.

There is a detailed map for parking along with more information here.

A reminder from the administration is to represent West in a positive and classy manner during the event.

May 1 was National College Decision Day. I would personally like to congratulate all Titans who committed to a college. On behalf of the whole Titan family, we are proud of you.

It’s important to remember the result of a test does not define you. Good luck to all AP students this week.

Go Titans!
