WS/FCS announces bus driver information session for May 13

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools will hold an in-person bus driver information session from 10 a.m. to noon on May 13 at the district’s central office at 475 Corporate Square Drive, Winston-Salem.

People considering a career as a WS/FCS bus driver will have the opportunity to learn about the job, the application and onboarding process, and the benefits provided.

WS/FCS will provide short information sessions followed by a walk-through on one of the buses. Candidates will also be able to apply in person at the event and will hear from the WS/FCS bus driver recruitment team and current bus drivers.

Eligible applicants should be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or a GED.

Bus drivers are not required to work nights, weekends, and are off during the holidays and summer months.

It is not required but encouraged to upload your resumé when signing up.
