Children’s programs

Nature Notebooks
• Due May 31
• Lewisville Branch
Pick up your Nature Notebook at the Lewisville Branch between March 19-April 22 (while supplies last). Participants will find plants that are native to N.C. in the wild and draw them. When they have drawn a plant in each category required, participants will bring their notebooks to the Lewisville Branch for a prize. Participants will have until May 31 to complete their notebooks. Each Nature Notebook comes with a packet of native wildflower seeds. Presented by Stormwater Smart of The Piedmont Triad Regional Council. Summer Kick-off Blood Drive

• Thursday, May 26, from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

• Lewisville Branch Auditorium

Kick off the summer by donating blood. The American Red Cross will have its bus onsite in the library’s auditorium. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome. Strenuous safety measures are in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Call 336-703-2940 for more information or to register.

Color & Coffee (in-person)

• Lewisville Branch Library

A morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, pencils and coffee as well as cocoa and tea will be available for participants. Call the branch at 336-703-2940 for more information.
