And in the spirit of giving, the two teams split their matchups, with the Gray team prevailing 6-5 last Monday night and the Blue team winning 9-1 last Wednesday.
The two teams also enjoyed a cookout with hot dogs before the games last Wednesday. Both teams will wrap up their seasons this week.

T.J. Fergus delivered two RBIs for the Blue team in the loss, while Luis Acevedo scored two runs.
William Siceloff and Ethan Chandler recorded six strikeouts apiece for the Blue team. Siceloff is second on the team with 14 strikeouts on the season, while Chandler is third with 10.

In last Wednesday’s win, Jordan Richardson pitched six strong innings, scattering four hits and striking out four to increase his team lead to 16 in 20.2 innings pitched this summer.

Acevedo knocked in three runs and Siceloff was 2 for 2 with two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the offense.

Post 522 Blue improved to 9-4 on the season.

The Post 522 Green team also split their two games last week and headed into the week with a 5-9 record.
Post 522 Green lost to the Surry Pride 11-9 last Tuesday but turned around and knocked off Post 522 Gray 11-9 last Wednesday.

The Green team is made up of rising freshmen from Western Forsyth County, while the Gray team is made up or rising freshmen from the Eastern part of the county.
