Titans’ boys soccer kicks off season in Crossroads Cup

The West Forsyth boys soccer team began its season in the Crossroads Cup on Aug. 15, dropping a 2-1 decision against Mooresville.

Sophomore Josh Medel scored the lone goal for the Titans in the loss, and he was assisted by Abiel Lopez.

West made its home debut at Durwood Pack Stadium on Aug. 17 as part of the Crossroads Cup and played to a 1-1 draw against Cox Mill. Lopez netted the Titans lone goal and was assisted by Josh Brown. Grant Tally recorded two saves and Logan Barker tallied four for the Titans, who are 0-1-1.

Their next game will be on Saturday in the Crossroads Cup with an opponent and time to be determined.
