Parking Lot Party, Clemmons Farmers Market, Dirty Dozen 5K all taking place Saturday

Join the Village of Clemmons and the Jerry Long Family YMCA for a Saturday morning not to be missed on Sept. 17 with three simultaneous events happening at the Jerry Long Family YMCA.

The Parking Lot Party is a free event for all ages from 8 a.m.-noon. Enjoy a DJ, mobile arcade game truck, inflatables, touch-a-truck and more. Food and treat trucks will be on site with a great variety available for purchase. Foothills Brewing will be sponsoring a beer tent available for purchase — must present valid ID.

Along with the parking lot party and Dirty Dozen 5K, you can enjoy the Clemmons Farmers Market. With over 30 vendors, the farmers market includes some of the best local farmers, artisanal food makers and natural product creators. Products include fresh baked goods, candies, kettle corn, pickles, sauces, jams, jellies, fresh flowers, soaps, lotions and a harvest of fresh produce each Saturday. The Clemmons Farmers Market is a producer-only market — farmers, growers and bakers only sell items they make, bake or grow themselves. On the first Saturday of each month, the market hosts local artisans and crafters.

The 4th Annual Dirty Dozen 5K Obstacle Mud Run for adults and youth (ages 7+) of all fitness levels plus the new 1-mile fun run for all ages will be taking place on site. Whether you’re navigating the 3.1-mile course as an individual or team, participants are challenged as they run through obstacles and test their strength, agility and stamina. Proceeds from the Dirty Dozen go toward YMCA innovative health programs benefiting cancer survivors, diabetes prevention and other chronic disease programs.

Pre-registration is required for the Dirty Dozen 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run at https://runsignup.com/Race/NC/Clemmons/DirtyDozen5K.
