Calling all ghouls, goblins, princesses and pirates!
The Town of Lewisville is busy planning this year’s Shalloween Festival. This annual Halloween Festival will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Shallowford Square in Lewisville.
In the event of rain, the festival will move to the G. Galloway Reynolds Community Center at 131 Lucy Lane.
There are a host of activities planned including a costume contest, magician, games, and arts and crafts for children ages 0-12.
Admission for the event is free. The town is allowing local Lewisville businesses (only businesses located within the incorporated town limits of Lewisville) to participate in Shalloween this year.
Businesses can host a game, give out prizes or company goodies like frisbees, etc. and of course hand out candy to the youngsters. These businesses can set up a table or host an area for games and goodies.
