Members of the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon cutting of the Fostering Faith Foundation’s location at the Broyhill Building in Clemmons on Nov. 1.

This organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to provide assistance to children ranging in age from newborn to 21 who are placed in foster care facilities by county departments of social services. In addition to assisting the children, non-relative families that foster children as well as relatives, known as kinship parents, that foster children are also provided assistance.

Members were advised of various needs: foster families, clothes, pantry items, school supplies, beds and bedding, therapeutic items, volunteers and monetary gifts. Sponsors are also needed.
