Gary Styers has been unanimously approved as the new Chief of the Clemmons Fire Department by the Board of Directors.
Styers, who currently serves as the Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal for Forsyth County Emergency Services, will begin his tenure during the first week of January, 2023.
He is replacing Chief Jerry Brooks, who is retiring at the end of December after serving the Clemmons Fire Department for 51 years, with 43 of those as Chief.
