Raymond Eglington Pearson

Raymond Eglington Pearson, 82, of Bermuda Village, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. He was born Jan. 27, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and raised in Groton, Connecticut. Pearson graduated from Lafayette College and received a master’s degree in business administration from the Warton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. After a 35-year career with Wachovia Bank, he retired. He is survived by his wife, Carol; son, James Pearson; daughter, Allyson Pearson Lowrey; and grandchildren, Pearce and Emerson Lowrey. A service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2022, at Clemmons United Methodist Church Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, PO Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the Salvation Army, 1255 N.
