There were several reported sightings of the Jolly Old Elf from the North Pole last week as he was making his way through Clemmons for final preparations ahead of the big day.
“I’m just here to make sure I don’t need to move anyone from one list to the other,” Santa Claus said with his customary chuckle.
“So far, so good.”
Students at West Forsyth High School, residents of Clemmons West, and children and their parents at the Jerry Long Family YMCA who stopped in for Milk and Cookies with Santa were among those who delighted in Mr. Claus’ early appearance.
“See y’all soon,” Santa exclaimed as he drove out of sight.
