Daileny Torres was recognized on Jan. 4 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons Student of the Month for December 2022.
Torres is an excellent student with a GPA of 4.43 and ranks in the top 30 in a class of 567 students representing the Class of 2023 at West Forsyth.

Torres is a very motivated person that craves to learn new ideas and have new experiences, in particular, different cultures and religions and works hard for things she loves and values.

Activities outside of school have included working at the Jerry Long YMCA as a swim instructor and lifeguard and volunteering at Clemmons Elementary School preparing activities/crafts for students in the media center.

In addition, Torres has worked at Lowes Foods as a cashier, a front porch host, in customer assistance and cleaning responsibilities.

Torres plans to attend UNC Charlotte and study either neuroscience or biology and become anesthesiologist.

The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Torres for her accomplishments and contributions to her school and community.
