Ethan Krebs was recognized on Jan. 18 as the Rotary Club of Clemmons’ Student of the Month for January.
Comments from West Forsyth High School in nominating him:
“Ethan shows up ready for school every day. He participates in class, is always kind and respectful, works hard and is genuinely a good person to be around. He brings out the best in others.”
Krebs has played on the West football team for all four years as an offensive lineman and has been a starter for three years and was a team captain this season. He was named to the all-conference team this year and all-area team and has been a steady presence up front for the Titans. He did not give up a sack this year and was credited with 38 knockdown blocks and graded out at 86 percent.
He has devoted his full energy and focus on the football team and has always tried to fire up his teammates and make them feel better about their role on the team and their performance.
Activities outside of school include helping his elderly neighbor with yard work every weekend and sometimes during the week. In addition, he has a large family and has made himself available to help family members with tasks that need to be performed.
Family has been a huge part of his life.
Krebs hopes to attend college on a football scholarship and already has an offer from Fayetteville State and hopes to receive more offers. He plans to major in sports marketing, exercise science or business management.
The Rotary Club of Clemmons congratulates Ethan for his accomplishments and contributions to his school and community.
