The local economy is a topic that matters to everyone, and at the end of this month, the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce will host a breakfast forum to discuss the most pressing issues at hand.
This economic forum will be a little different than the one we had back in September. For this event, we’ll have a panel discussion including Lewisville Mayor Mike Horn, Clemmons Mayor Mike Rogers, N.C. Rep. Jeff Zenger, Pat Ivey, Terry Bralley and Lou Baldwin. This lineup is subject to change, but as of right now we have a great list of speakers. We have a list of questions that’ll be put to the panel members, including specific questions regarding long-term growth, new businesses and the growth and development of the local workforce. Ample time will also be allowed so that our audience may ask their own questions, too.
Join us from 7:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at the Historic Broyhill for breakfast and the panel discussion. DOT questions, employment, real estate and more will be discussed at the forum, along with other topics you’re not going to want to miss. This forum serves as your chance to hear about current updates on the state of the local economy.
The cost to attend is $15 for chamber members, and $20 for non-chamber members, and the fee includes breakfast and admittance to the panel. Registration is required. You can register online on the chamber website or at tinyurl.com/mt7wbc4z.
The Historic Broyhill is located at 3540 Clemmons Road in Clemmons, and the panel discussion will take place in the main room inside. If you have questions, call the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce at 336-970-5100.
