Each year, the Lewisville Civic Club selects three graduating high school seniors to receive a college scholarship for $1,500 for its Community Service and Leadership Award.

In addition to academic accomplishments, the recipients have also spent hours completing service projects in Lewisville. The scholarships are available to any public or private school student in Forsyth County.

This year’s winners are Zachary Morris, who is graduating from Atkins High School and who plans to attend the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill; Anna McPherson, who is graduating from Calvary Day School and who plans to attend Duke University; and Veronica Sherman, who is also graduating from Atkins High School and who plans to attend the Colorado School of Mines.
