Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is still accepting bus stop requests for the 2023-2024 school year, but deadlines are approaching.

The service allows parents or guardians to register new stop requests for their children. It is not intended for parents to change student bus stops. That can be done at your child’s residential school.

Students going into grades 6 and 9 next year will need to complete the registration to ensure a stop location is set up for their new school.

Parents will be asked to enter the student identification number and date of birth using the Bus Stop icon on the district’s website. Once that is entered, the child’s bus stop assignment in the Transportation Information Management System (TIMS) will be provided.

The deadline for registering for a student’s bus stop is July 28.

Rising 6th- and 9th-grade students who completed the form before July 1 will be identified at your current elementary or middle school.

Rising 6th- and 9th-grade students who completed the form after July 7 will be identified at their new middle or high school.

Anyone not signing up for a bus stop will not have one until Sept. 11, after the start of the school year.
