The Mysterious Benedict Society Escape Room

“Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?” That is how The Mysterious Benedict Society book series begins and one can test their knowledge at the ultimate challenge — The MBS Escape Room. On Wednesday, August 9 visitors at the Lewisville Branch Library can solve puzzles at The Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened. Wednesday’s Woeful Escape Room

Think you know Wednesday? Teens are invited to join in on Wednesday, Aug. 2, for a Back to School event and to see if they can escape Wednesday’s Woeful Escape Room. Inspired by a popular TV show, participants will have to solve clues in order to crack the case. Registration is required, and there will be groups starting at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. For teens ages 13-18. Away We Go! Summer Film Series

Travel the world for free — one movie at a time — from the library. Visit places around the world during the summer movie series on Monday afternoons. The setting for each movie will be in a different country so that you can get a glimpse of the scenery, people and customs from around the world. Audience: adults and families.
