Toddler storytime

  • Mondays at 10 a.m.

Join in for stories, finger plays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Toddler Storytime will meet on Mondays at 10 a.m. For more information, call 336-703-2940.

Take & Make Kits for Kids

Kids can pick up a to-go craft kit to make beaded bookmarks while supplies last.

The Mysterious Benedict Society Escape Room

  • Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 4 p.m.
  • Lewisville Storytime Room

“Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?”  That is how The Mysterious Benedict Society book series begins and one can test their knowledge at the ultimate challenge — The MBS Escape Room. On Wednesday, August 9 visitors at the Lewisville Branch Library can solve puzzles at The Learning Institute for the Very Enlightened. Groups will begin at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. For more information, or to register, call 336-703-2940. Recommended for ages 8-12. Registration required, as space is extremely limited. Take & Make Craft Kits for Teens

Teens can pick up a to-go craft kit to make stress balls for the new school year while supplies last.

Dungeons & Dragons Meetup Group

  • Aug. 14 and 28 at 3 p.m.
  • Lewisville Branch Auditorium
Ever wanted to learn to play Dungeons & Dragons? Are you an experienced player who would like a place to meet up and have adventures? Join the Lewisville Branch Dungeons & Dragons meetup group. The group will have an experienced Game Master to teach those who want to learn. Character sheets and dice will be provided. All meetups are from 3-5 p.m. in the Lewisville Branch auditorium. Adult programs

Yoga for Beginners

Join in at the Lewisville Branch auditorium or from home for two free yoga sessions to help uplift your mind and body during this stressful time. Color & Coffee

Witchy Washi & What Not Crafts

Join in to learn how to make fun crafts with washi tape and/or other supplies. Supplies will be provided. Space and supplies limited to first 12 registrants so be sure to call to reserve your spot. Friends Book Club
