Forsyth Public Health offers free fall COVID and flu shots

Forsyth County Department of Public Health, 799 N. Highland Ave, began offering the latest no-cost flu and COVID-19 vaccinations earlier this week
The walk-in vaccination clinic hours will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-
No appointment is needed. No insurance or ID is needed.
Individuals can receive both the flu and COVID vaccines at the same time.
The FDA and CDC approved and recommended the updated Moderna and Pfizer COVID vaccine for everyone six months and up. If someone has had a previous dose of COVID vaccine, they should wait at least two months to get the fall vaccine.
Individuals will still need to stay for a 15-minute observation period after receiving the COVID vaccine.
