Friends Annual Fall Book Sale

Shop for great deals at the Friends Fall Book Sale at the Lewisville Branch Library. All proceeds from the book sale go to support the Lewisville Branch Library.
Child programs
Toddler Storytime

Join in for stories, fingerplays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.
Preschool Storytime

Take & Make Kits for Kids
- Oct. 9-14
Kids can pick up a to-go craft kit to make a fun craft! While supplies last.
EcoEXPLORE: Arachnology
- Oct. 17 at 3 p.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
The Greensboro Science Center will visit the library on Tuesday to teach children about arachnology and why spiders are so important. This program is made possible through the Greensboro Science Center ecoExplore program. This program is recommended for grades K-8.
Builders’ Club
- Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
The Lewisville Branch Builders’ Club meets the third Wednesday of every month. Bring your creative building skills and come play. The club has many building supplies, including LEGOs, K’Nex and more. For ages 6-12. Space is limited, so registration is required.
Pumpkin Search & Find

Can you find all the pumpkins hidden in the children’s room at the Lewisville Branch Library? Find them all, and you win a prize. While supplies last.
Teen programs
Dungeons & Dragons Meetup Group
- Oct. 16 and 30 at 3 p.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
Have you ever wanted to learn to play Dungeons & Dragons? Are you an experienced player who would like a place to meet up and have adventures? Join the Lewisville Branch Dungeons & Dragons meetup group. The group will have an experienced Game Master to teach those who want to learn, and character sheets and dice will be provided. All meetups are from 3-5 p.m. at the Lewisville Branch. This program is recommended for teens, but all are welcome. For more information, email Emily at emersoem@forsyth.cc.
Adult programs
Yoga for Beginners

Join in at the Lewisville Branch auditorium for two free yoga sessions to help uplift your mind and body during this stressful time. The class is facilitated by a local yoga instructor, Tracy O’Neill of YogaCentrix. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library.
Color & Coffee
- Oct. 13 and 27 at 10 a.m.
- Lewisville Branch Library
A morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. Call the branch at 336-703-2940 for more information.
Witchy Washi & Whatnot Crafts
- Oct. 18 at 10 a.m.
- Lewisville Branch Auditorium
Join in to learn how to make fun crafts with washi tape and/or other supplies. This month, special guest Marlene Kuser will show how to make felted soap encasements. Participants are welcome to bring their own brand of soap, otherwise one will be provided along with other supplies. Space and supplies limited to first 12 registrants so be sure to call to reserve your spot.
