CLEMMONS — The Village of Clemmons, in coordination with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office will be using the placard system for designated neighborhoods to be used during the Tanglewood Festival of Lights again this year.
If residents have misplaced their placard from previous years, they can pick them up from the front bench at Village Hall, 3715 Clemmons Road.
Placards are available only for the following neighborhoods:
- Old Meadowbrook
- Westridge
- Asbury Place
- Tanglewood Farms/River Oaks
In a release, a Clemmons Village spokesperson said, “Unfortunately, we cannot address every scenario of traffic congestion; however our goal is to help you to navigate easier. The placard should be placed on the dash of the driver’s side of the vehicle. Deputies recommend waving the placard when you are within sight to expedite this process.
“It is our goal to continue keeping the lines of communication open between the village and residents. We would like to encourage you to share this announcement with your friends, colleagues and neighbors. If you have any questions or comments, please call village hall at 336-766-7511.”
