CLEMMONS — Celebrate the first day of Advent and get into the Christmas spirit at a Christmas Concert part of the Bingham Arts Series, a program of the Shallow Ford Foundation underwritten by the Thad and Mary Bingham Community Fund.

The event will be held in the Magnolia Room at Historic Broyhill on Dec. 3, 3-5 p.m. and features four local bands/groups showcasing their talent in the form of their favorite Christmas songs.

Free hot cocoa and cider will be available from Be Kind Coffee along with Moravian cookies provided by the Shallow Ford Foundation.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Seating is limited and will be on a first-come, first-seated basis. Performances will be 20-30 minutes each and there will be a brief intermission. For more information, go to shallowfordfoundation.org/arts or contact the Shallow Ford Foundation at 336-663-6794.
