LEWISVILLE — The Lewisville Civic Club hosted the Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club at their membership meeting on Nov. 16 at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center.

Proceeds from the event were donated to LCAP which is supported by eleven churches in the area.

Brown thanked the Club and noted that this year so far, LCAP has assisted 54 families, helped with housing for 13, provided power for 6 families and also distributes food monthly to those in need.

Additionally, Jon Beeler, president of the Lewisville Civic Club, whose members also assisted in the cycling event, presented Brown with a check for $500 to assist LCAP.
