LEWISVILLE — Enjoy some Holiday time with your Salem Swing Band on Dec. 21 at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center in Lewisville.

“Lots of your favorite sacred and secular Holiday songs, all in a swing style (will be played),” read a release from Salem Swing Band Music Director Eileen Young. “(The concert features) SSB vocalist Mignon Dobbins singing Ella Fitzgerald and other classic swing hits.”

According to the release, the concert will also feature music from the Nutcracker, The Grinch, Rudolph, Peanuts, Les Brown and a special World Premiere of I Saw Mommy Kissing Sant Claus by our SSB trombonist, Steven Sherrill.

Sleigh Ride, Silent Night, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, Deck the Halls and more will be played. Donations accepted. A free concert sponsored by a grant from the Shallow Ford Foundation.
