Lewisville FD combats Tuesday blaze

LEWISVILLE — A mobile home caught fire in Lewisville shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
A spokesperson with the Lewisville Fire Department (LFD) confirmed that the fire occurred in the 1600 block of Chardale Drive which is officially listed as a Clemmons address.
According to information from the LFD Facebook page, “no one was home at the time of the fire.”
The post also indicated that there were no injuries. However, the mobile home was a total loss.
The cause of the fire was reportedly accidental.
“Thanks for the assistance from the Clemmons and Forsyth County fire departments as well as Forsyth County EMS and (the Forsyth County) Sheriff’s Office,” the post said.
