RALEIGH — N.C. Speaker of the House Tim Moore announced Rep. Jeff Zenger (R-Forsyth) has been appointed to serve on the Joint Elections Oversight Committee

“It is so important that we ensure our state has secure elections,” Zenger said. “I hope to find more efficient ways to ensure that our citizens can feel confident that our elections are fair.”

The interim subcommittees will investigate a wide array of issues that are impacting N.C. citizens. The subcommittees will also brainstorm and discuss possible legislation to address issues they see within their respective areas.
