CLEMMONS — Dr. Jessie Ellsworth was recently honored with a Guardian Angel pin for patient care provided in the Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center emergency department.
The pin was bestowed by Pam Dillon for the care her daughter received. She wrote in her nomination: “Dr. Ellsworth took the time to listen and discuss her symptoms, run tests and explain everything. His kindness and nonjudgmental attitude were really appreciated.”
The Guardian Angel program is a way for patients to thank those team members who make it easier for them to focus on what really matters — getting better and staying healthy. When patients want to express their gratitude in a meaningful way, a gift of any amount can be made through Novant Health foundations to honor that team member as a Guardian Angel. Team members are recognized in a pinning ceremony where they receive an angel pin to wear on their badge.
