CLEMMONS — The Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department hosted its annual Spring Cleanup event, which is geared toward public participation throughout the community to help beautify Clemmons.

More than 140 volunteers braved the rain to participate in the cleanup this year that took place earlier this month. The event resulted in 143 bags of trash and recyclables picked up along over 16 miles of roads throughout the village.

All volunteers received a 2024 Spring Cleanup shirt that was created by 5th graders Nolan Hill and Chad Kim from Morgan Elementary School.

The village of Clemmons Stormwater Department would like to thank everyone who was able to participate in this fan favorite community event that helps keeps our road and waterways clean.

A big thank you to following sponsors who helped make this event possible: Be Kind Coffee Co., Biscuitville, Clemmons Family Dental, Clemmons Trace Village, Gradeworks LLC, Krispy Kreme Donuts, McCall Insurance Services, New Horizons Preschool Inc., Novant Health Twin City Pediatrics and Waste Management.
