Clemmons Branch Library events

Join in on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for a virtual story time featuring books, songs and more. Pick up a story time kit at the library.

Join on Zoom every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for preschool crafts.  A limited amount of pre-assembled supply kits will be available for pickup at the Clemmons Branch Library.

Join on Zoom twice a month on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. for a new children’s program series featuring a variety of topics. On Feb. 3, celebrate Lunar New Year by learning about traditions from multiple cultures and then make lantern and dragon puppets. On Feb. 17, celebrate Black History Month’s theme of family by learning how to research a family tree and then create one of your own.

Join on Zoom twice a month at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for a virtual hangout session where a variety of topics are discussed and get your crafts on. On Feb. 11, celebrate Lunar New Year by learning about some of the traditions from around the world and about the animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Create a paper lantern and try your hand at some origami. On Feb. 25, celebrate Black History Month’s theme of family by learning how to do some digging into your own family, then create a word art family tree.

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m. put your knowledge to the test in a virtual game of trivia hosted by the Clemmons Branch Library on Zoom. All subjects will be covered. Individuals and groups are welcome. Winners will receive a free book from the Friends of the Library book sale.
