National Library Week — April 24-28
Library Trivia — In Celebration of National Library Awareness Week
Put your library knowledge to the test to try to win a “sweet” prize. Correct entries will be placed in a drawing to win a prize.
Take a Shelfie! — Library/reading photo props will be available for customers to use to take photos of themselves in their favorite spot or section of the library. Customers will be able to share those photos with staff to be posted on social media or turned into a button. #fcpl #nlw
Library Search & Find — Search the children’s Area for hidden images. Find them all and get a prize. For all ages. Free and open to the public. Call 336-703-2940 for more information.

Child programs

Toddler Storytime
Join in on Mondays at 10 a.m. for stories, fingerplays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 0-2 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. For more information, call 336-703-2940.
Preschool Storytime
• Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Join in on Tuesdays for stories, fingerplays, songs and activities designed for small children. Recommended for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. Preschool storytime will meet on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. For more information, call 336-703-2940.
Earth Day Take & Make Craft
• April 17-21

Nature Notebooks
• Through May 31
• Lewisville Branch Library
Recommended for ages 5-11
Pick up your Nature Notebook at the Lewisville Branch Library (while supplies last). Participants will find plants that are native to N.C. in the wild and draw them. When they have drawn a plant in each category required, participants will bring their notebooks to the Lewisville Branch Library for a prize. Participants will have until May 31 to complete their notebooks. Each Nature Notebook comes with a packet of wildflower seeds. Presented by Stormwater Smart of The Piedmont Triad Regional Council. Teen programs

Blackout Poetry
• Through April 21
• Lewisville Branch
Are you a poet but don’t know it? From April 10-21, create your own blackout poetry from materials supplied in the teen corner. Blackout poetry is created when words on a page are omitted rather than added. Once poems are completed, the library will display them in the teen corner. Come try it out and see what you can create! Adult programs

Color & Coffee

A morning to relax, color, be with others and enjoy a cup of coffee on the house. Coloring sheets, colored pencils and coffee will be available for participants. Call the branch at 336-703-2940 for more information.

Friends Book Club

The Friends of the Lewisville Library invite all adults to participate in interesting discussions of timely titles. You do not need to be a member of the Friends to participate.
