Become a Friend of the Clemmons Library

Books are magic. They have the ability to transport us anywhere in the world we want to visit. This is true for readers of all ages. Our new library provides a place for everyone, no matter how old, to learn, enjoy, conduct a meeting or just relax in a quiet setting.

The county library does a good job of providing a variety of programs and experiences. What if we wanted more? Where does the funding for these “extras” come from? This is where the Friends of the Clemmons Library come in.

It cost only $10 to become a Friend of the Clemmons library. This money helps us provide extra programs for children (such as the Summer Reading Program) and other books and programs our patrons have requested.

Twice a year, the Friends hold a book sale of books donated by our patrons. Friends membership will also allow you to shop at the preview sale on Oct. 11 from 4-6 p.m.

On Oct. 12 and 13 from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and Oct. 14 from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m., the sale is open to the public. You will find books, magazines, DVDs, records etc. for all ages.

Become a Friend now, or before the sale begins and help us provide those extra programs and services that will make our library even more special.
