You’d have to be living under a rock to go without realizing that this year has been far from normal, especially for high school students. With the COVID-19 pandemic leaving students at home learning remotely, some see it as a positive and some don’t. But, like it or not, it is midterm week.

With one final week between West students and winter break, everybody is hoping to make one last push in order to enjoy that nice three weeks off. For some, the break is much needed after their workload the last few months.

“The long winter break is what is motivating me to get through this week, I also want to keep my grades good,” senior Jeffrey Song said.

As the holiday season approaches I hope you all have a happy, safe winter break.
